As of 10:00 AM Sunday, March 14th the Boil/Bottle water advisory is lifted. We received a second safe sample so you no longer need to boil your water.
UPDATE: The main break was repaired and water was restored at 2:00 AM. The advisory is now in effect until further notice. We are anticipating getting our 2 sets of test results back by Monday. Watch the website for updates.
3:45 PM Crews are working on the water main break. Once water is restored the ENTIRE town will be on a BOIL/BOTTLE WATER ADVISORY until Monday at the earliest. This was a large break and the tower drained so DNR requires additional testing before the water is able to be used for consuming. Please see the website, under the Sanitary District Tab for information regarding the boil/Bottle advisory instructions.
As of 1:15 pm today, Thursday March 11th a Water Main was hit while working on Highway W. The water will be shut off. We will be posting more information once we receive it.
